Project Spotlight: Lake Tapps Kayak Pond
The inspiration behind this project came from this customers’ love of kayaking! Early on in the design phase she mentioned that she would like her pond to be large enough to practice kayaking maneuvers in, as well as provide enough height to block the neighbors house from view.
This project presented some technical challenges which were easily and creatively handled by Dan, our Artist of the Year foreman.
Project Specs:
36’x50’ pond with bog filter, intake bay, and two waterfalls
(3) Tsurumi 12PN pumps for the waterfalls
(1) 4000-8000 Variable Speed pump for jets
(18) 3 Watt LED Lights
Install time: 11 days with 4 crew members
Investment: $140k - $160k
